Epic Proportions!
So... what`s next?
The notion that bigger is better is loosing ground among the bearded men.
2016 will be the year of the styled, and well kept beard.

Some of you might have noticed it by now, all the Xmas decorations that's up already! At least if you work at a mall you will notice it pretty early, long before the holiday's!
But I guess that's ok, because you build up so much hype before Xmas, and if Xmas don't go as planned, you get pissed and hate Christmas! But if you work at a mall and see all these decorations so early you finally get tired of Christmas, so when X-mas arrives, you're there like " Mehh whatever"...

Ever since we opened in October last year our client base have increased at a steady pace and the salon have become more and more busy. In fact we have become so busy that we need more staff.
Kutt Fornebu is definitely a fun place to work. The salon shows a modern twist on a vintage feeling.The staff is a tight knit dedicated group of people. The standards are high and the mood is light. Hey ya'll, this is your boy "The Kid" bringing to you guys the new stuff here at our awsome salon!
This new series is for you ladies out there that wants thicker hair and stop hair breakage, this series helps you reduce hair loss duo to hair breakage up to 2X.
So, what do we have ?
The series contains Full density Shampoo, Conditioner and Spray treatment.
How does it work ?
Well, all the products works pretty much the same way, what they do is that they'll all work the surface of each strand and instantly expand it leaving you with a feelig of thicker hair. Nina. Aka, The Sheriff
Nina loves skulls, tattoos, and the sweet side of life. But most of all she loves hair. This is clearly apparent in her client`s hair and good mood as they float out of the shop on a daily basis. Strong, healthy hair is one of Nina`s key interests. “The shinier the better” Ever heard of Katzenjammer? Nina is their stylist and sees to it that they look as good as they sound. As manager of Kutt Fornebu (or ''The Sheriff'' as we like to call her) she`s been a key part in putting together a strong crew and creating a salon-experience unlike no other.
Nina says:
‘’Blonde is Beautiful, Big is better and, and Less is definitely NOT more!’’
‘’Trust me, and I will make you jump of joy on your way out of the shop’’
Vegar. Aka, The Chip
Educational Director and “resident handyman” at Kutt Fornebu.
He`s proud to call himself a hairnerd, and a peoples-person. This comes across through his interest in both you, and your hair.
He know`s a lot about a lot of things and take`s a keen interest in almost everything, so expect an interesting chat witchever way the conversation goes.
The Chip`s been doing hair for over 10 years and in his time he`s been working in some of the best salons in and around Oslo.
Vegar says:
“I make it my everyday task to change people`s look without them having to change their lifestyle. So either you want to brush up the old look or get something completely new, I will tend to your every need”
Isabell. Aka, Juicy Lucy
Juicy started here journey on Adam & Eva hairdresser school in August 2012.
Her apprenticeship took her ”here, there and everywhere” before she landed at Kutt and settled down just in time to get to grips with the all important final exam.
She passed with flying colors and today she stands out as a highly skilled stylist and a great resource to the salon.
Isabell says:
“You will always feel safe in my chair and together we get the result you wish for, plus I’m a people person so a good conversation is a must”
“I have a passion for beauty. I love to make my clients feel great about themselves”
Daniel. Aka Dannyboy
He`s passionate about working with people.
He`s always on the lookout for new inspiration and performs his craft with precision and confidence
Working with his hands has always been his passion, something we see every day in the salon.
Daniel is a down to earth guy with lots of latin blood running through his veins.
He attended Adam & Eva's school and did his apprenticeship at Adam&Eva Nedre Slottsgate.
He started working at Kutt Fornebu when we launched in October, and has since been a key member of the Kutt Crew.
Daniel says:
“For me hair isn’t just hair, it’s a canvas waiting for the right shape and color, and I’m always trying to figure out new ways to express myself through my client’s hair”
“I’m starving for inspiration and always on the lookout for new impressions, so don’t be shy to show me ideas or tell me what makes you excited”
Allen. Aka AL. Aka. The Kid
The Kid`s our new talent. After starting work in the shop he quickly became an invaluable asset to all his colleagues.
We think he's awesome!
He attended Adam&Eva`s school from August 2014 and started he`s apprenticeship at Kutt Fornebu in January 2015
Allen is a pretty hardworking guy. Besides being hard working he`s relaxed and easy going, never spending too much time thinking about things that can`t be thought trough…
This laid back go approche makes him, service minded professional and easy to deal with.
Allen says:
“Smile to the world and the world smile`s back. Good karma is my thing. I do to others what I want other to do to me”
“I’m pretty new to hairdressing, but no stress I have learned from the best and know pretty much what I need to do, I work with very skilled people so help and inspiration is never far off.
Helena. Aka. Grrly Sue
Helena is our Grrly Sue, she might be grrly, but don’t let her look fool you, she do have this rock n roll soul. She might seem a bit quiet at first, but when u get to know her, she’s like this little crazy thing that will make your day, every day. She started her journey at Adam and Eve hairdressing school in January and joined our awesome family in June. So here she is, at Kutt Fornebu, fresh and creative .
Helena says:
“My passions are hair, fasihon, music, art and beauty.”
“My goal is to be a color master so if you want to color your hair in some rad collors, please contact me”

Real Life Anime Kid

Hey ya'll this your boy "The Kid" with our new girl "Grrly Sue" bringing to you something awsome that happend yesterday 16.07.15.
So yesterday we had this awsome kid here at our salon wanting a hair cut. Before he came to visit us, him and his father had been watching this Anime series named "Naruto" For A whole week!
( Anime is a Japanes animation). Then he walked in here with his Naruto headband on and wanted the finishing touch for his Naruto look. Showed us some pictures of what he had in mind and our Ultimate stylist " The Chip " and our new apprentice " Grrly Sue " got to work.
Here is the result :)

Im the new girl here at Kutt Fornbu, and im really exited to work here at Kutt !
My passions are hair, fasihon, music, art and beauty.
My goal is to be a colormaster so if ya wanna color your hair in some rad collors, please contact me!
I strated my study at the Adam og Eva school of hair dressing in January, and now I`m here at Kutt and i love it. I`m really really exited to start my adventure here at Kutt and get to know my new fam!

Hey ya'll this your boy AL here, and today I'm going to share with you guys some of my favorite products! What I like to use on my customers.
These product series i recommend here is all for them girls out there.
( I will make one for the boys later).
First is the Shampoo and Conditioner series. For most girls with damaged hair I recommend the "Repair Inside'' series, and for girls with that dry hair I recommend the "keratindose'' series and ofc. both of them have leave in treatment so you dont have to wash your hair everyday and still keep it moistured and repaired at all time!

Works for almost any hair types as well, and ofc. finish it of with "Style Fixer Finishing hairspray''!

It's allways been well known that hairdressers aren't the first people to ''rise and shine'' in the morning...
WELL, time has changed!!
''The Sheriff and The Chip''
is from the 7th of April, up Bright and Early to get YOUR nest ready for the day!
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, we'll be standing here ready with our Scissors and Razors ready at 08 o'clock (sharp!) in the morning!
Wouldn't it be great to start the day with a relaxing Scalp massage,
and a haircut before you get off to work?
Or, how about a cleeean Hot-Towel Shave??

Hey Ya'll ,your boy "AL" here !
So me and DannyBoy, here at Kutt Fornebu were talking about Japan and why we felt so in love and so inspired by that country. Ofc. there are lots and lots of things to love about Japan like the language, food, games, anime, culture and "Ninjas/Samurais".
But something me and Dannyboy really like and admirer might be that style, that overdo, that freedom, that creativity, that harajuku.
Thats right, that harajuku style. So "harajuku" does not really mean anything special, but its actually a location i Japan, where young, and teenagers dress in their own fashions they invent themselves, or cosplay outfits.
That is pretty awsome and creative if u ask me.
So me and DannyBoy, here at Kutt Fornebu were talking about Japan and why we felt so in love and so inspired by that country. Ofc. there are lots and lots of things to love about Japan like the language, food, games, anime, culture and "Ninjas/Samurais".
But something me and Dannyboy really like and admirer might be that style, that overdo, that freedom, that creativity, that harajuku.
Thats right, that harajuku style. So "harajuku" does not really mean anything special, but its actually a location i Japan, where young, and teenagers dress in their own fashions they invent themselves, or cosplay outfits.
That is pretty awsome and creative if u ask me.
They really are wearing what they want. "Kakkoii" ( awsome).
That hairdo is pretty kakkoi and "Kawaii" (cute) even tho' she is wearing a wig.

Whilst you might be thinking of Jennifer Aniston's Friends-shag or that very 90's-shag of Meg Ryan, the modern shag is alot softer and more in the mid-length to long hair section.
This style is fairly unisex and can be adapted to most features, be made office-safe or super statemnet-y,
This year is it's all about the female shag (no dirty thoughts now, ya hear?), and Maya gives you her shagalicious hair inspo.

A few weeks ago (sorry for the delayed post about it...)
We were shaving faces back at Adam&Eva Skolen, we were asked to introduce the art of shaving, the "how-to" "what-to" and "what-NOT-to" DO's.
My task was to shave this handsome fellar, with the grain, and against the grain.

How to.. Get that Grease-Lightening-Look!

Start with.... your Hair, AND My favorite tool, This little baby!
This is A must have, for every Chick!1. Work trough your hair with The Blue Lightning, until your hair looks like this.
2. Gather your hair in a high ponytail.
3. Work through the ponytail until all the hair is warm, then roll it in.
4. Pin it up, and let it cool down again. Don't let it fall down while it's still warm!
5. Let the hair down again, use some hairspray to tuck in any loose hair hanging around the edges, and gather the ponytail.

Perhaps America's oldest snack - popcorn "leftovers" has even been found in archeological digs in South America. Evidence of of this has been dated as far back as 4700 BC!

We of course have to thank the movie theatres (that's what your gramps would call what you know as a cinema, btw) for popcorn's mass appeal.
As luxuries were scarce during the Depression, popcorn was an inexpensive alternative to sell. Ever since, popcorn has been a tradition at both cinemas and at home.
Also revered as a relatively healty snack (depending on how much yummy grease, butter, salt, caramel, chocolate, cheeseeeeedrrrrrrooooooool........ you put on it of course), popcorn will always be our favourite kind of snackacrackin'!

There are alot of great products out there, we all have different taste and needs for our hair.
These are just my personal favorites !
When it comes to getting all those natural oils out of my hair I like using
Evo's "the therapist's calming shampoo", it smells great and really gives a feeling of freshness to the scalp.
Second step for me is this badboy:
Evo "mane attention protein treatment".
I leave this mask on for about 5 minutes while I think about the profundity of life.
To top the whole thing of, I end the whole washy washy ritual, I seal the hair off with
Evo's "the therapist calming conditioner"
What I really like with Evo's products is that everything smells extraordinary fresh and clean.
Makes it easier to hit the shower when you get out feeling that you're rejuvenated each and every time !
